The following are the courses that I am currently teaching and their synopsis.


UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL
Seminar in Political & Social Change: Digital Politics
This course explore the effects of the Internet on various aspects of politics. Students will get an opportunity to learn about digital politics and its implications to society from both international and domestic perspective. They will also learn how to apply the knowledge of digital technologies through first-hand experience in creating data-driven policy suggestions and social innovation projects.
Media & Political Imagination
This course is designed to explore one main thematical question: How does media affect politics? Students
will get an opportunity to learn about the role of media in shaping political sphere through the concept of
political communication as well as the implications of the society from both international and domestic
perspective. They will also learn about the importance of media through the experience of being an online content creator to push for political topics of their interests. 
Democracy in World Perspectives
This course is designed to introduce students to the extensive literature on democratization in comparative
politics. This course analyzes the major approaches and the critical issues that form the democratization literature in comparative politics. Rather than drawing upon one region, this course is organized thematically and draws upon the experiences of Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Students will apply the knowledge through a policy suggestion project in which they are tasked to plan a "democratization strategy plan" for a non-democratic country.
Basic Readings in Political Science
This course is a junior-level course on basic readings in political science. In this course, students will be exposed to seminal works in political science; particularly, from the western world. Students will also have the opportunity to
develop their English comprehension skill through weekly readings and reflection papers. 
Government and Politics of the United States of America
This course covers the fundamental structure of the US government, its underlying political and social issues, partisan implications, then situating the country in the sphere of international relations.
Seminar in Human Rights, Human Security, and Atrocity Prevention
This course provides understanding of the root causes of atrocity crimes, including key elements of prevention, and the role of organizations at all levels in supporting atrocity prevention. It will also examine historical context linked to Asia region-specific atrocity crimes as a means of understanding the past to prevent the commission of future atrocity crimes.
Delivered in conjunction with the United Nations Office on Genocide Prevention and Responsibility to Protect (OSAPG), the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to
Protect(APR2P Centre), and University of Gadjah Mada (Indonesia).

GRADUATE LEVEL
Approach to Political Science
This course is a graduate-level introductory course to political science. In this course, students explore the basic approaches and theories of politics as they learn about the basic, seminal literature in various aspects of politics and their implications on how we develop an understanding on political phenomena and society.
Digital and Society
This course explores the effects of the Internet and digital technologies on various aspects of life. Students will get an opportunity to learn about digital politics and its implications to society from both international and domestic perspective. The format of this class is a combination of lectures and interactive discussions.

Decision Support System and Data Analytics for Public Policy
This course serves as an introduction to data analytics for public policy. Students will be introduced to tools and methods that are available to them when it comes to policymaking. This course emphasizes on the use of quantitative analysis and data to evaluate policies and making recommendations. Students will also get a first-hand experience in data management through assignments and individual project in this course. For the primary software, this class will use STATA.
